Tenderfoot Training
A Recruit must complete a series of training called “Tenderfoot Training” before he is invested as a Scout. Tenderfoot Training includes 12 subjects which are the basics of being a Scout, such as history and knowledge of the Scout Movement as well as basic scoutcrafts.
In addition, a Recruit must submit a Tenderfoot Logbook before his investiture.
This Logbook is a record of a Recruit’s learning and must be passed before the Recruit is eligible for investiture. Through this exercise, we hope Recruits would be able to learn not only the subject matter in the training but also the importance of prior planning in completing different tasks in their life.
